Accessibility
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Athlete Prints wants people to be able to browse the shop, customise a print, and check out whether they use a mouse, keyboard, screen reader, or another assistive technology. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on the main customer flows: the homepage, product and race pages, the poster customiser, cart, checkout handoff, and the help, terms and privacy pages.
What we do
- Page language is set to English, and pages use a sensible heading order where we can.
- Images that convey meaning have alternative text. Decorative images are marked so they can be skipped.
- Form fields and icon-only buttons have visible or accessible names.
- Interactive controls can be reached and used with a keyboard, and focused controls show a visible outline.
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps to the main content.
Known limits
Some parts of the customiser are visual by nature, including the live map preview and drag-to-reposition photo tools. We pair those with labelled controls and text fields wherever we can. Payment is handled on Stripe Checkout, which is a third-party page. Map tiles come from our map providers.
Get in touch
If something on the site is hard to use, email orders@athleteprints.com with the page you were on and what you were trying to do. We will do our best to help, including taking an order by email if the customiser is not working for you.
